Louise Newby -
BSc (Hons), PGCE, MEd (Cantab)
After completing a degree in Biochemistry, I began my career in the pharmaceutical industry, working for GlaxoSmithKline and Merck Sharp & Dohme. I then moved in to pharmaceutical marketing, where I developed and delivered training materials to leading UK doctors specialising in various therapeutic areas.
This work led me to train to become a secondary school science teacher, where I was eventually employed as Head of Science and became part of the school leadership team. I was then asked to join the secondary school teacher training programme at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education where I was involved in educational research projects and lecturing trainee teachers.
In all of the roles that I have held, I have had experience of the challenges that employees can face due to their mental health and recognised how poorly staff within organisations are trained to identify and effectively manage employee mental health. These experiences encouraged me to form Three Eggs Training & Consultancy.
We work to support businesses to help their staff maintain good mental health and continue to thrive within the workplace.
