Our Proactive Employee Assistance Programme

Our Proactive EAP is a revolutionary new level of support for your organisation and your employees. The traditional method of the EAP is outdated, underused and offers little support to your team and therefore little ROI to you as an employer.

The traditional EAP solely relies on employers taking the responsibility for promotion, employees taking responsibility for access and is used as little by as little as 1-4% of staff.

For The Whole Team

Your whole team will benefit from access to our wellbeing and mental health services. This works in four tiers which are all included in the PEAP:

1.

Holistic Support

Our clinical psychology team provides general hints, tips and advice to improve day-to-day wellbeing. We have some great partners who offer online services to help individuals with topics including:

  • improving physical activity levels;
  • understanding the impact of better nutrition;
  • developing mindfulness;
  • increasing financial literacy;
  • understanding the importance of sleep.
2.

Managing Your Own Mental Health

As with Tier 1, this is aimed at supporting individuals to proactively manage their own mental health. Basic mental health awareness training modules help individuals to recognise signs of poor mental health early and take action before needing more reactive support. The modules cover topics like stress, anxiety, depression, the impact of alcohol and poor sleep.

3.

Getting More Help

This service supports those requiring more than self help, by explaining additional information on topics such as depression, stress, anxiety and eating disorders and signposts to counselling services and additional professional support. At this stage, an employee may wish for their Line Manager or Mental Health First Aider to be involved, but this is entirely led by them.

Crisis Support

Sometimes, things might get too much and our services offer fast signposting to crisis support services.

For HR Heads of Department and Personnel Leads

We offer three clear, unique support services:

1.

General Mental Health Organisational Consultancy

An advice line set up specifically for HR managers to talk to our clinical team about general HR/mental health topics.

In addition, HR Managers can gain advice about how to approach large HR topics such as organisational change, restructures and new system implementation. Too often we get involved after the event – this service provides reactive support, but is also there to provide proactive advice before big changes are implemented, helping HR managers to identify potential stress points for employees before they happen. This is not a call centre line – you will speak to the same clinical support staff member who will assist you throughout the process.

2.

Specific Case Support with Fast Track

If an employee needs specific mental health support from your organisation, we are there to help you to deliver that. Whether they are about to go off sick, are already off sick, or want to stay at work with coping strategies, we can provide you and them with robust, clinically-led support. If an employee is off and you want fast track support, to bypass the NHS or private consultations, we can offer a turnaround referral within 10 working days (but usually sooner) and we can offer private talking therapy treatments if this is deemed necessary.

3.

Mental Health Assessments

If there are situations where staff need a mental health assessment with reasonable adjustment recommendations or clarity on a condition, we can provide this to you as their employer.

We also offer specific HR Professional mental health training sessions that explore real life scenarios.

DESIGNED SOLUTIONS

For Senior Leaders & Heads of Department

Our mental health is all of our responsibility and at Three Eggs we design our solutions to reinforce this, but we find that a culture of supporting positive mental health and wellbeing in an organisation has to start at the top and disseminate from there. This makes Mental Health First Aiders and Wellbeing Champions more effective and encourages a culture of openness.

We offer managers and heads of departments specific training in mental health and managing their own wellbeing, whilst supporting the mental health of their teams.

Our Reflective Practice Groups are also accessible through the PEAP and are a really effective way to create a culture of openness between managers or team leaders.  They provide a safe space to discuss mental health in job roles and positions of authority that may not usually feel able to talk openly about how they’re feeling.
