This course helps everyone attending to understand what dementia is and how it can impact someone experiencing it.

By learning about the experiences of people with dementia, learners will develop a better appreciation of the challenges that can be faced by those with dementia in the workplace.

Learners will consider how they can communicate effectively with someone with dementia so that colleagues are supported.
